The beta test is free. This version will operate for free until the end of 2026. Long term we will continue to offer a free version. Paid versions will be available with additional features including the ability to work with many children such as in a school and offer more analytics or a wider range math operations.

At this early stage Anstrix can create worksheets for addition, subtraction and multiplication. It can vary the number of numerals in the top and bottom row and can vary the difficulty of multiplication questions by using values from 1-5 or 1-9 to help children that are not yet confident with multiplication of higher numbers. We will be adding more challenges such as decimals, fractions, probability, trigonometry and algebra.

Research has shown we learn far better when we use our hands to write answers. There are many expensive apps with countless features, colors and animations but it's been proven that paper practice is far more effective in terms of retention and implanting understanding of mathematical procedures. Anstrix is designed to offer the best of both worlds, the convenience of a phone application and the learning benefits of paper exercises.

Anstrix is revision tool. It is assumed the student has been shown how to perform a certain math operation. Anstrix will provide practice questions and track the student's performance as they complete worksheets. It doesn't explain how to add or subtract etc, it helps perfect the ability.

True. We only support Android devices at the moment. Android and iOS are very different operating systems. We are developing the app in Android first and when we have entered production we will copy the app across to iOS. It's not practical to develop both at the same time.

While app developers try to think of everything, the best test is to ask the public to try to "break it". Anstrix is in beta testing now. We use this phase to get feedback on things that could be improved and to get product improvement suggestions. Durin this phase the app is free. All beta versions will function for free until 12/31/2026. But don't worry, there will always be a free version available with the principal features included in the future.
